Why I Developed This Puzzle Game

As someone who has played many puzzle games, I always felt like something was missing. The fun in the vast majority of games never really caused me to feel like I needed to think outside of the box or stretch my ability to solve problems. It was either too predictable to begin with or the solution was far too apparent. I needed something more-means-to make me pause and rethink my approach, so I could experience that real victory when I figured it out.

In an effort to get it all, I played all the games I could find to hope to find a challenge, but they just didn't cut it. This led to this puzzle game, designed and created for some truly provocative puzzles that require more than swift reflexes or repeating patterns. I wanted to make a game where every level was an innovative puzzle and the player would have to utilize their mind to think in a very intellectual way and imagine the sort of things they themselves never thought about. Then keep going with curiosity and persist in every level they encounter.

The puzzles that I have designed are not obstacles to be crossed; they are crafted to open your mind and pay you for your efforts. It is, above all, a game of observation, strategy, and, more importantly, patience. Such a game never rushes you but instead asks you to take the time, try things out, and enjoy the satisfaction of figuring things out on your own terms.

It has been for me more than simply making a game to be enjoyed, but to fill the gap I always felt as a player. The chance to unify clever design and challenging gameplay in just one pack in such a way it's both engaging and rewarding.
